Charging amino acids

This exercise allows you to get a 'feel' for the twenty 'building block' amino acids of the genetic code. Select from either menu at the top. The atoms and bonds are shown as the solid 'skeletons'; the translucent 'shells' show the surfaces of the amino acids, with blue representing degree of positive charge and red the degree of negative charge. Buttons below the amino acids allow you to blink the characteristic parts of an amino acid.
